Don’t Tell me…

…it was “God’s Plan”

…it wasn’t the right time

…there must have been something wrong

…that “God dosen’t make mistakes”

…it’ll happen when you’re ready

…it’ll be so much easier now

Just don’t.

This is a great list! I think we should grow it, print it and post it really large somewhere! I don’t know if you glanced at my blog, but I put a few there, too.

Here are some of my other favorites:

…It will happen when you least expect it.

    …just relax.

    …isn’t it just fun trying?

    Yeah…good advice…JUST DON’T!

Hi Meggon – I’m not sure if you remember me at all from Luther but I felt encouraged to share my story after seeing your story on Susie’s page. I understand what you are going through and share the same exact emotions. I found out I was pregnant in the middle of August. I was so excited however I was having a lot of abdominal cramping and just didn’t feel like things were right. I ended waking up in the middle of the night one night and was bleeding. I went the ER immediatey and was told I was miscarrying. This was in November, and I was 13 weeks along. I chose to have a D&C because I just wanted it to be over with. The few days after the D&C I continued to bleed heavily and 5 days after the first, I needed to have a second D&C. Since then, I have suffered with very painful ovarian cysts and abdominal pain and face the possibility of having my right ovary removed. I have not dealt with the same infertility issues as you but I fear that possibility. When I read your posts, I feel like I am reading my thoughts. Thank you for sharing your story! I don’t think anyone truely understands the emotions you go through after a miscarriage unless they have gone through it themselves. Please know that you are not alone and that I am praying for you!

great list…i’m sure we could all add the many insensitive comments we’ve heard to this and it would stretch the span of many miles…sadly.
one of my personal favorites: “you’re lucky” [because i m/c early]. with this incredible amount of “luck” i possess, i better run to the nearest casino or play the lotto! give me a break.
